And so it continues…

In the midst of new growth under Marylouise Still and Mindy Bartscherer, the Cupboard (now serving 3-4x as many families as in 1989) recognizes a new need: to serve its patrons with the dignity of choice, breaking down stigmas to allow families to order exactly the food they deserve!

Since April 2013, we have operated as a full choice food cupboard. Patrons choose what they or their family want from a variety items at each of our stations; Dairy, Frozen foods, Misc. items, Proteins, Canned veggies, Canned fruit & juices, Carbohydrates, Frozen meats, Fresh breads, Fresh produce and Sweets.

During this time, the Cupboard also expands it’s menu to an assortment of fresh produce, frozen meats, and eggs. The Clothing Cupboard was opened to ensure access to clothes and other non-food items such as hygiene and feminine products!
