After years of dedication…
Muriel Happich passes operations of her beloved Loaves & Fishes pantry on to new leadership. Duties of running the cupboard are shared by a team of dedicated volunteers under guidance from Dr. Thomas Force.
For nearly 3 decades, the JUMC continued it’s food programs with congregants and volunteers sharing responsibilities for a growing community cupboard. As the pantry continued to grow, they continually were supported by JUMC with donations, volunteer support, and an expanding footprint in the Muriel Happich Annex building.
A special thanks to some amazing staples of the pantry over these many decades including Lou and Penny Riggs, Lance Lorch, and Marylouise Still! The Cupboard continues to move forward in loving memory of Muriel Happich and Dr. Thomas Force.
